The book is collection of articles published in different newspapers and editions. The articles of Seyhmus Diken are based on his personal memories and knowledge about the city and its people. The author describes the cultural, religious, ethnical and human diversity in Amed in the past and how the soul of the city has been impoverished, when the Christians left.
